On July 30, 2025, the Trump administration issued an Executive Order suspending the de minimis exemption, effective August 29, 2025.

This change means that all packages arriving in the United States are now subject to a 15% tax upon entry, regardless of value.

At MISFITKID, we remain committed to delivering your favorite Japanese and Korean goodies straight from Japan. To comply with the new regulations, we will continue shipping to the U.S. using Yamato Transport, which follows the updated requirements.

Orders can be canceled only before shipment or if the items were specifically stocked for your order.

We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery.

❌ We cannot accept returns on the following items:

・ Handmade, thrift-flipped, customized, and/or personalized products
・ Personal care/beauty items
・ Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
・ Sale items and gift cards

✔ Items must be in original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact.
✔ Photos are required before we can process any return or exchange.

📦 Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

🚫 Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Please note: Due to the rarity or availability of certain items and to give MISFITKID time to source them in person, a processing delay of more than 30 days may occur for pre-orders.

We ship worldwide from Japan using Japan Post and Yamato Transport.

• Orders are carefully packed with bubble wrap to protect the contents.

MISFITKID cannot declare packages as gifts or undervalue items.

If applicable, a tracking number will be provided and emailed to you once your order has shipped. Tracking availability depends on the shipping method selected at checkout.

For shipments with tracking, please don't hesitate to contact Japan Post or Yamato directly with any questions or concerns during transit.
Note that these carriers are Japanese and offer very little support in English.

Please be aware that MISFITKID is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages once they have left our facility, regardless of whether tracking is available.

Please verify your shipping address carefully before placing your order.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, reshipping fees will apply.
